A tennis racket tracker for your setups and restrings

Which racket has the newer strings? What tension did you ask for last time? How much have you played on the backup frame? A racket tracker puts those answers beside the racket instead of leaving them across receipts, messages and memory.

Tennistory combines racket records, string setups, court time and care history in an iPhone app. You can start with one racket free.

What belongs in a useful record?

Identify the frame clearly, including the model and any distinguishing detail when you own two similar rackets. Save the installed string and reference tension, then add restring and grip changes as they happen.

Log the time you play with the correct racket. If you rotate between frames, a single total for the week cannot tell you how much use each stringbed received. Keep your notes simple enough to update consistently.

Before your next stringing appointment, review the previous setup and why you changed it. This creates a more useful conversation than trying to reconstruct an old tension from memory.

Explore equipment without losing your own history

Tennistory also includes a racket library with specifications, comparisons and a finder. Use these to research a frame, then keep the record of your actual setup. A library specification and your individually configured racket serve different purposes.

Match scoring and play records sit alongside equipment care, so the app can be useful between restring appointments too.

What is included free?

The current free plan includes the racket library, one racket, 30 days of history and fixed reminders. Pro adds unlimited rackets, full history and additional care and comparison features, including tension curves and acoustic tension estimates. Check the current App Store listing for subscription details before choosing a plan.

String-life and acoustic values are estimates. They help organize your records; they are not a professional stringbed inspection.

Start with your current setup

Add the racket you use most, save what you know about its strings and tension, and begin recording court time. If you do not know an old stringing date, keep that uncertainty rather than inventing one.
